Private Sessions in-person
Private sessions - online
It can sometimes be difficult or feel overwhelming to leave your home, however it's important that you are as comfortable as possible when doing this work. I therefore offer online private sessions for anyone who wishes to remain in their home, require more scheduling flexibility, or live far away. Despite not being in the same room, all of the same benefits of practicing Trauma Sensitive Yoga are still available. To book please contact me directly. Please note that I do not do house-calls.
This is the primary way in which I work. Given the sensitive nature of recovery, as well as the vastly different challenges each person may wish to address, private sessions are normally the most effective way of working together. Unlike in group practices, one-on-one sessions enable me to give you my fullest attention and address your individual situation. Wherever you happen to be in your path to healing, we will together collaborate on building a practice that is supportive of you and your body.
There is something very powerful about a group of people coming together, all working at their own pace and according to their own needs, but together. These normally take place as a series of 8 or 10 weekly practices, with a limit of 8-10 participants, men and women separate. Most groups are provided as an integrated service within nonprofit agencies, mental health treatment centers and organizations, however also privately on an intermittent basis throughout the year.
